Although cats are not trained exactly like dogs, many of them can learn basic commands. Encourage them just like dogs, with treats, praise and rewards. Socializing your cat is very important to avoid aggressive behavior towards people and other animals in the future.

Provide your cat with a special object to sharpen its claws on, and every time it does it in a different place, direct it to it. The same goes for toys, they should be appropriate and stimulating to her mind and to use up her energy.
