Privacy policy and personal data protection

GENERAL INFORMATION


In its capacity as a personal data controller for the provision of mediation services and in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data "PLD" of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Regulation on the Protection of Individuals and their Personal Data (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 and the free movement of such data and for the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation or "GDPR"), Petranga OOD collects and processes personal data, to the extent that they are necessary for the full performance of the service. Petranga OOD processes and protects personal data responsibly and legally.

TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA, THEIR PROCESSING AND STORAGE


1. A user is any natural person who has visited the Platform and who has registered on it, providing their personal data.


2. Personal data is any information related to an identified natural person or an identifiable natural person.


3. All personal data related to the registration of a user profile for operation on the Platform, such as names, email, phone, location, IP address, photos and others, are processed.


4. Any other information provided by the User of the Platform through the publication of advertisements or in any other way is also processed.


5. The processing of personal data is any single operation or set of operations performed with personal data or a set of personal data by automatic or other means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or modification, retrieval, recovery, consultation , use, disclosure by transmission, distribution, or other way in which the data is made available, arranged, provided, updated or combined, blocked, limited, deleted, deleted or destroyed.


6. Petranga OOD stores your personal data for a period not longer than the existence of your account on the Platform. After the expiry of this period, the Company makes the necessary efforts to delete and destroy all your data without undue delay.


7. Information related to payments, such as bank cards and their details, is administered by the STRIPE payment system.

PURPOSES OF DATA COLLECTION


8. The purposes for which Petranga OOD processes the disclosed personal data relate to:


8.1. Creating and maintaining a user profile on the Site;


8.2. Ensuring full functionality in providing the Services;


8.3. Establishing a connection with the User;


8.4. Providing and receiving SMS, chat, e-mail, postal and other information and services related to the performance of the activity;


8.5. Ensuring the performance of the contract in relation to the service provided under the contract;


8.6. The information that Users share with Petranga administrators and/or with each other through the various communication channels and stages in the Platform may contain personal data and be processed when a specific situation arises that requires it;


8.7. Medical information regarding the health status of pets, when necessary;


8.8. Business and other activity analyses;


8.9. External software integrated into the Platform, such as the STRIPE virtual POS terminal, CRM and other systems;


8.10. Activities related to performing technical support;


8.11. Activities related to ensuring information security;


8.12. Advertising and marketing purposes related to the expansion of the activity and improvement of the quality of the service;


8.13. Social media postings;


8.14. Sending invitations to business-related events;


8.15. Sending offers for new services and other related activities;


8.16. Accounting and tax purposes;


8.17. Statistical purposes;


8.18. When necessary for legitimate protection from the National Revenue Agency and other state and municipal authorities.


WHO HAS ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA


9. Employees and associates of Petranga OOD, who have undertaken obligations to protect the confidentiality of the information that became known to them during the performance of their duties;


10. The Platform's service providers, such as companies providing accounting services;


11. IT services, lawyers, hosting, marketing and other services;


12. Operators providing telecommunications services;


13. Municipal and government institutions;


14. Judicial authorities;


15. The User understands and agrees that the personal data provided by him when using the Platform will be publicly available to other persons, Users of the Platform


WHERE PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED AND STORED


16. The data is processed and stored in server systems located in data centers of providers with whom maintenance contracts have been concluded.


17. Protection against information leaks and misuse by third parties is ensured by the Firewall and the high requirements in the maintenance contract.


USER RIGHTS


18. The user has the right to submit any requests related to the Privacy Policy to the personal data administrator in writing through the specified methods of contact.


19. The user has the right to withdraw his consent to use personal data at any time.


20. The user has the right to request a change or addition of his personal data at any time by making a request to the administrator for change.


21. The User has the right to request that his data be transmitted to him or transferred to another administrator designated by him at any time.


22. The User has the right, upon request, to have his personal data deleted by the administrator at any time. When a User sends such a request, his wish may not be satisfied in cases where this conflicts with the legitimate interests of the administrator or the administrator fulfills legal obligations related to the National Revenue Agency, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other institutions.


23. The Personal Data Administrator has the right to update and change the provisions of the Personal Data Privacy Policy by publishing the changes made.

24. The Platform uses various types of cookies that are important for its proper operation. By visiting the website, Users accept their use.


25. Mandatory cookies are important for the proper operation of the Platform. Functional cookies are important for using the Platform's functionalities. Analytical cookies are important for analyzing the attendance and the way Users work on it (Google Analytics cookies)

How it works

  1. Register a user profile - all fields must be green.
  2. Configure your search by type of service, city and period.
  3. Choose a sitter, review their profile and send them a request.
  4. The platform offers you several selected sitters to whom you can automatically send the inquiry, but you can continue without this option.
  5. If you are looking urgently, post an ad on the bulletin board
  6. Follow in your private chat with each sitter separately, in the "Reservations" section, for the initiation of communication from the sitter(s) and clarify the details of the reservation. Upon confirmation of acceptance of the reservation by the sitter(s), you will receive an SMS notification
  7. You need to confirm the reservation as well in order to see the sitter's phone number in the chat, as well as he yours, and to enter into direct contact..
  8. Before or on the day of the service start, the parties meet and payment is made within a time frame and manner agreed upon between them.
  9. After the service is completed, rate the care provided by the sitter by leaving a review on their profile page.

How much does it cost for pet owners

Paid:

To the platform – From the total reservation amount, the owner pays a 25% reservation fee upon confirmation of the reservation and a 10% service fee

To the sitter – From the total reservation amount, the owner pays 75% to the sitter on the first day of the service, in cash or via bank transfer.

Free:

Owners can use the system for an unlimited number of sitters and reservations – searching, browsing, registering a profile, sending requests, connecting with sitters, and chat communication with an unlimited number of messages with the sitters.
